Yet, through your vigilance beforehand and the strength of your faith in the Gohonzon, you have survived unharmed. How fortunate! How fortunate!When your luck runs out, no strategy will work. When your fortune has been exhausted, even your servants will disobey you. Ultimately, neither luck nor fortune lasts forever.
Now more than ever, believe in the Gohonzon and strengthen your faith!
Never regret that “Shoten Zenjin did not protect me” when your fate has ended.Even famous heroes and warriors throughout history were of no use whatsoever once their good fortune ran out. Believing in the Gohonzon is important.
However, no matter how much Nichiren prays for you, if your faith is shaky, it will be like trying to light a fire on a wet log. You must strive diligently and vigorously to cultivate your faith!Regard your survival as a wonder.
