From the first year of Shōka, I began contemplating the Rissho Ankoku Ron, and in the first year of Bun’ō, I had completed its composition.
Witnessing the major earthquake on the twenty-third day of the eighth month in the first year of Shōka, I contemplated this Rissho Ankoku Ron.
Subsequently, on the sixteenth day of the seventh month in the first year of Bun’ō, I presented it to Tokiyori Hōjō through his close retainer, Yadoya Zenmon.Later, when the giant comet appeared on the fifth day of the seventh month in the first year of Bun’ei, I came to understand the root cause of calamities.
Nine years after the submission of Rissho Ankoku Ron, a letter arrived from the Mongol Empire, declaring its intention to invade Japan. The prophecy of invasion came true.
By analogy, the future holds that both Japan and the world will continue to be driven by the principles of Rissho Ankoku Ron.
Rissho Ankoku Ron is not an empty theory. It is a living letter where theory and evidence perfectly match.
This is the prophecy of the Original Buddha, Nichiren Daishonin, therefore it will be fulfilled without the slightest error.
