Even though Nichiren Daishonin’s Great Law has been manifested in this land, the sovereign who is supposed to protect this Law, has abandoned it without fulfilling his duty and refuses to listen it. For this reason, the people will also refuse to listen to the Daishonin’s teachings.
As a result, Shoten Zenjin, who protect the nation, will abandon this country.
Then numerous disasters will occur, and the head of state will be dethroned.
People will lose their good hearts. They will tie up and threaten people, or kill them, or get angry and fight. Even innocent people will be drawn into these crimes.Rissho Ankoku Ron, July 16, 1260
