The Honmon Kaidan no Dai Gohonzon
Est. October 12, 1279
It is the embodiment of Nichiren Daishonin’s soul and has been infused with the enlightened life of the True Buddha. It is a sacred treasure kept in Mt. Fuji, Nichiren Shoshu Taisekiji. Nichiren Daishonin says:
I, Nichiren, have written my soul in ink, believe it. Nichiren’s soul is Nam Myo Ho Ren Ge Kyo
It was left to all mankind so that we can practice and obtain Unbreakable Happiness (Jobutsu)!
As the 26th high Priest Nikkan Shonin stated about the benefit of The Kaidan no Dai Gohonzon:
The benefits from the Gohonzon are limitless, and the work is immeasurable and unfathomable.
Therefore, if you chant Nam Myo Ho Ren Ge Kyo toward Gohonzon even once, your prayer will not go unanswered, and no sin will remain unforgiving.
All good fortune will be bestowed upon you, and all righteousness will be proven.
Praying toward The Honmon Kaidan no Dai Gohonzon from your home is called Yohai Gongyo (worshipping from afar.)
Even though you are far away from The Kaidan no Dai Gohonzon, it does not matter. If your faith is earnest and strong, it can overcome any gaps and connect you to The Kaidan no Dai Gohonzon, so you shall become one and become fortunate.
Chanting
Nichiren Daishonin Buddha is in front of you and he is connecting your soul while chanting.
- Sit down and facing toward The Honmon Kaidan no Dai Gohonzon (Mt.Fuji, Japan).
- Put both hands together with prayer beads at chest height.
- Look straight and repeat “Nam Myo Ho Ren Ge Kyo” 3 times, and bow.
- Start chanting (5-7 minutes)
- Finish with “Nam Myo Ho Ren Ge Kyo
Every prayer gets answered. It is very important to continue to chant even if things in your life are not fixed the way you planned it. When you look back and realize that it was for the very best, you will understand why chanting is vital.
Lotus Flower
As a lotus grows, it blooms into a beautiful flower even though it is surrounded by mud. It is not stained by it. The muddier the water, the more beautiful the flower.
“Nam Myo Ho Ren Ge Kyo” is the Law of the Universe.
“Ren Ge” means Lotus in Japanese.
We become like the lotus flower. No matter what circumstances we are in, keep chanting “Nam Myo Ho Ren Ge Kyo” and you will be protected by the force of the Universe. Everything will be alright!
Every day we all walking toward our fate. When you chant, you are connecting with Nichiren Daishonin Buddha.
“Nam Myo Ho Ren Ge Kyo” is the medicine that works for everything! It takes your pain away and gives you peace.
Chanting daily is essential.
