On the steep mountain and on the rough road, using me as your walking stick, you will not fall. Especially, if you hold my hands, you will never stumble. Nam Myo Ho Ren Ge Kyo will guard you even after death as a walking stick. Shoten Zenjin will also protect you.
If I, Nichiren pass before you, I promise to come for you on your deathbed. If you go first, I will make sure to let King Enma of the afterlife know you’re my ally. I never break a promise.
I, Nichiren, am the only guide to lead people to Jobutsu. You must earnestly wish for Unbreakable Happiness.
Money always changes forms as needed. Likewise, the Gohonzon changes as well.
The Gohonzon becomes a light in the darkness, in crossing a river,
the Gohonzon serves as a boat. In this way, the Gohonzon brings peace to our lives in this life and protects us in our later life.February, 1274
