The prophecies of major earthquakes, famine, and plague have already come to pass—can there be any doubt that the remaining two calamities will follow? When these two disasters strike due to the nation’s violation of the true Law, what then shall we do?
The king governs the nation from his throne, and the people maintain their livelihoods by cultivating their fields.
But if foreign invaders attack and conquer the land, or civil war breaks out and plunders the homeland, how could there be no panic and turmoil? After losing home and country, where else can anyone survive?
When a king abandons the Buddha’s teachings and fails to uphold them, his fortune will vanish, severe illness will befall him, he will die and fall into hell. Not only the king, but all his retainers will face the same fate.
Those who violate the true law, Nam Myo Ho Ren Ge Kyo, will have no filial children, their homes will constantly be filled with discord, and Shoten Zenjin will not aid them. Sickness, misfortune, suffering, will follow endlessly, and they will fall into hell after death.
